However, 2 months is the ideal time frame for Day Skipper and 3 months for Yachtmaster but you can go faster or slower. Most important is not to rush it. Take it steadily. All the learning is online but Duncan Wells and his team are available whenever you need them. With the Westview Sailing RYA Day Skipper and Yachtmaster online courses you are not alone. About Us
Duncan Wells lives and breathes every element of sailing, navigation and instruction.
From Westview Sailing to the Stress-Free series of sailing books, magazine articles, talks and the pursuit of safety at sea with MOB Lifesavers, the Rescue Sling and the 6-part ratcheted block MOB tackle he developed with Harken. Duncan has devoted his life to trying to make things as stress-free as possible, so that sailors can get the most out of their time on the water. And that is the Westview philosophy, taking the stress out of things, taking things step by step and building the learning steadily and with humour. It’s got to be fun or it’s not worth it.
